Information You Provide
We collect information you provide when you use our Services or otherwise engage or communicate with us, including:

- Financial Data, such as your fund investments, equity ownership, and portfolio valuations.
- Uploaded Content, such as Series B term sheets. We collect this information only with your permission.
- Additional Data You Provide, such as through customer support and other communications.
Information We Collect Automatically
As with many digital platforms, we collect certain information automatically when you use our Services, including usage information such as device identifiers (for example, IP address or mobile device identifiers), pages or features used, time and date of access, and similar usage details.
Information We Collect from Other Sources
We may also obtain information from:
- Vendors and business partners, such as name and contact data.
- Connected services. If you link, connect, or log in to your SignalRank account with a third-party service (for example, Google or Apple), that service may send us profile information based on your privacy settings there.
- Publicly available data, including contact information and interactions with our social media platforms.
- Data from other users. If you are in another user's contact list and they share that list with us, we may collect that contact information and your association with that user.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect as described at the point of collection and for the following purposes:
- Maintain and provide the Services, including account processing, support, repair, and account management.
- Send transactional and relationship information, such as confirmations, technical notices, security alerts, support messages, and administrative updates.
- Communicate about offers, newsletters, product announcements, partner offerings, surveys, events, and other updates.
- Personalize Services, including recommended or customized content.
- Monitor and improve Services, including analytics, research, and development.
- Protect the safety and security of our Services, business, and users, including fraud prevention and investigation of unlawful activity.

3. Disclosures of Information
We are committed to maintaining your trust. We share information in the following circumstances:
- Authorized third-party vendors and service providers performing services such as identification verification, fraud prevention, advertising, mailing services, tax and accounting services, web hosting, and analytics.
- Substantial corporate transactions, including merger, consolidation, reorganization, financing, change in control, acquisition, bankruptcy, or similar proceedings.
- Legal purposes, where disclosure is required by law or legal process, or needed to protect the rights, interests, safety, and security of SignalRank, our users, or the public.
- With your consent, for any purpose disclosed to you when consent is requested.
We may also share aggregated or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify you.
4. Third-Party Tracking and Online Advertising
We use third-party advertising and analytics services to better understand online activity and serve targeted advertising. For example, we use Google Analytics. More information is available at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
These companies may collect information over time through cookies, device identifiers, and related technologies, including IP address, browser, mobile network information, pages viewed, time spent, links clicked, and conversion information.
5. Do Not Track
Some web browsers transmit do-not-track signals to websites. We currently do not take action in response to these signals.
6. Your Controls
- Account profile: You may update certain profile information by logging into your account.
- Access to device data: You may disconnect our mobile app's access to stored device information through your device settings.
7. Notice to California Residents
This section provides additional details about personal information we collect about California residents and rights afforded under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
The CCPA does not apply to most nonpublic personal information collected by financial institutions like SignalRank because that information is subject to other financial privacy laws.
Subject to limitations and exceptions, California residents may request additional details about categories and specific elements of personal information collected, request deletion of personal information, opt out of applicable sales (if any), and receive non-discriminatory treatment for exercising rights.
We do not sell information about you to third parties. To support advertising and marketing, we allow third parties to collect information through our Services as described above.
In the prior 12 months, we collected the following categories: identifiers (such as name, email, and IP address), internet or electronic network activity information (such as engagement with promotional messages and ads), and inferences (such as gender inferred from first name) derived from other personal information.
California residents may make a rights request to access or delete certain personal information not otherwise exempt by law by logging into a SignalRank account and selecting options to download personal data or request deletion. You may also request assistance at privacy@signalrank.com. We may verify requests by matching provided information with records on file.
You may designate an authorized agent to exercise rights on your behalf. We may require proof of authorization and may ask you to verify identity directly with us.
8. Transfer of Information
Our Services are currently designed for use in the United States. If you access Services from another jurisdiction, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries that may not provide data protection equivalent to that of your home jurisdiction.
9. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may evolve over time. When we update it, we revise the effective date and post the updated policy. In some cases, we may provide additional notice, such as a statement on our website or direct notification.
